Nawakara has received ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015

Nawakara has received ISO 45001: 2018 and ISO 14001: 2015 certifications as an international standard company. The two ISOs have explained top management’s leadership needs, implemented a High-Level Structure so that it is easier to implement and combined with other management systems, and identified opportunities related to HSE.

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It gives guidance for its use to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injuries, health issues and proactively improving their OH&S performance. Meanwhile, ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance.

“These two ISOs help organizations improve occupational health and environmental safety performance through the use of competent, more efficient resources and reduce waste, thus gaining competitive advantage and stakeholder trust,” said Nurhadi Kurniawan, HSE Dept Head.

Both ISOs have considered external and internal issues and the needs and expectations of interested parties such as the government, customers, shareholders, suppliers, employees, and the surrounding community.
