COVID-19 is a trigger that brings us all into a new change in all parts of our lives. When this virus began to enter Indonesia in March 2020, Nawakara made modifications to its regulations. The company itself is a company that complies with all rules and cares for all its employees’ health, hence making essential decisions to prepare all employees for this virus’s precautions.
On March 16, 2020, Nawakara Management formed the COVID-19 Task Force Team. The team instantly decided that the Nawakara Head Office should immediately start running the Working from Home system on March 17, 2020. Nawakara implemented the work from home program quicker compared to any other company in Indonesia to prepare the whole company for this pandemic.
As time went by, the number of coronavirus infections in Indonesia increased significantly.
Nawakara has five representatives outside Jakarta. The issued provision is that all Regional Offices must follow the Regional Government’s regulations regarding COVID-19.
The Nawakara COVID-19 Task Force releases all information or news regarding COVID-19 through the Corporate Communication Department. This is to prevent any possible misleading information and hoaxes. Posters and banners were installed in the Head Office and Regional Office to remind all employees regarding the health protocols and regulations.
To this day, Nawakara still follows all the provisions of the respective Regional Governments. Health protocols include wearing masks, washing hands diligently, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing unnecessary mobility. These restrictions and procedures are made aware of all of Nawakaras employees through their internal media platform.
The implementation of the health protocols is not easy as they are not natural everyday habits for all of us. However, we must remind ourselves and the people around us to implement these health protocols to prevent this virus’s contagion.
