Batang – Security personnel for the Nawakara Project PLTU Batang (RO Surabaya) carried out cooperation with residents and community leaders to clean the Tomb of Syekh Maulana Magribi Ujungnegoro Village, Kandeman District, Batang Regency, Central Java, Friday (2/4). This cooperation is carried out to welcome the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 1442 Hijriyah to create a clean and comfortable environment for tomb pilgrims.
The Head of the Batang PLTU Project, I Nengah Sugiarta, explained that the tomb of Syekh Maulana Magribi is no stranger to the Muslim community in Java, especially the people of Batang. For pilgrims, the tomb is a religious tourism destination because there are tombs of prominent scholars. Many say they are guardians, namely Sheikh Maulana Maghribi.
As the leader, Nengah supports the cooperation activities carried out by 54 Nawakara security personnel. “Hopefully this activity can provide a sense of comfort for grave pilgrims in the future, and can further strengthen good relations with the community in the Batang PLTU Project environment, so that harmonious and synergic conditions are created,” said Nengah.
Ustadz Tugio, as the administrator of the Tomb of Syekh Maulana Magribi, thanked him for the cooperation. “I am very grateful to Nawakara and the residents for their time and energy to clean the Tomb of Syekh Maulana Magribi. Thanks to Nawakara who is always consistent in carrying out social activities that are directly related to the community, and the benefits can be felt directly for the common good,” said Tugio.
