Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 The Indonesian government’s efforts to increase national oil and gas (oil & gas) production require strong support from various sectors, including a security system capable of ensuring uninterrupted operations across the entire upstream oil and gas value chain. From a physical security perspective, many oil and gas facilities are located in remote areas with extensive operational coverage, making them vulnerable to asset theft, vandalism, unauthorized intrusion, and disruptions to critical distribution routes.<\/p>\n

At the same time, social security has become an equally important consideration. Maintaining harmonious relationships with surrounding communities, managing social issues, addressing land disputes, and engaging effectively with stakeholders all play a crucial role in ensuring smooth project execution.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the industry’s digital transformation\u2014driven by the adoption of SCADA<\/strong>, the Internet of Things (IoT)<\/strong>, and remote monitoring systems\u2014has introduced new challenges, particularly the growing risk of cyberattacks targeting Operational Technology (OT)<\/strong> systems.<\/p>\n
