Macau – The 29th Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA) International Conference, held jointly with the Asia Pacific Humanitarian Emergency Response Organization (APHERO) International Forum 2025, was successfully conducted at the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC), Macau, China, from October 24 to 27, 2025.
Carrying the shared theme “Anchor · Build · Benefit Asia Pacific – Sustainable Development of Humanitarianism,” the four-day conference brought together security professionals, humanitarian leaders, and cross-sector experts from various countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
The program agenda included the opening and plenary sessions, presentation of honorary certificates, thematic panel discussions, and a Token Exchange Ceremony as a symbol of collaboration and solidarity among APSA chapters.
A key highlight of the event was the Panel Discussion titled “Mitigating Climate Change and Strengthening Disaster Resilience,” featuring speakers from Hong Kong, Macau, Nepal, India, and Indonesia.
The Indonesian delegation was led by the President of APSA Indonesia—who is also the President Director & CEO of PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara—Dino Hindarto, who served as a panelist and delivered insights on regional security collaboration, climate change preparedness, and the importance of synergy between the private sector and humanitarian organizations.
Through this event, APSA reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening security governance, disaster preparedness, technological innovation, and sustainable humanitarian development across the Asia-Pacific region.
The conference was organized by the APSA Macau China Chapter in collaboration with APHERO and supported by the Macau SAR Government, Galaxy Entertainment Group, and various research and academic institutions in China.
