Mandailing Natal – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara’s SMGP Mandailing Natal Project has once again achieved a positive milestone by receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for its success in significantly reducing theft incidents within the operational area of PT SMGP. The award was presented on Tuesday, 6 January 2026, at the Aspiration Corner of the PT SMGP Basecamp area.
This award was given as a form of appreciation for proven effective security performance, where the number of theft cases was drastically reduced from 177 cases since 2022 to only 3 cases in 2025, with a 100 percent case resolution rate. This achievement reflects the consistency and strong commitment of PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara in safeguarding assets and maintaining a secure working environment at the geothermal project.
The certificate of appreciation was handed over directly by the Head of Geothermal Engineering (KTPB) of PT SMGP, Mr. Ali Sahid, to the Project Manager of PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara’s SMGP Mandailing Natal Project, Mr. Timor Ranto. This handover symbolized strong synergy and collaboration between the project owner and the security service provider in creating a safe and conducive working environment.
The General Manager of the Pekanbaru Regional Office, Joni Afrizal, also expressed his appreciation for the achievement. “This award is the result of hard work, discipline, and commitment from all security personnel at the SMGP Mandailing Natal Project. The success in significantly reducing theft incidents with a 100 percent resolution rate proves that the security system we have implemented is effective and professional,” he said.
Furthermore, Joni emphasized that this achievement is expected to serve as a benchmark and motivation for all PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara projects in other regions to continuously improve the quality of security services and support the smooth and sustainable operations of clients.
