Balikpapan – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) has once again achieved a positive milestone through its security services project at PT Pelsart Tambang Kencana (PTK). On Saturday, January 24, 2026, three of Nawakara’s top personnel officially received awards in recognition of their outstanding performance and high level of dedication in supporting security and ensuring smooth company operations.
The award ceremony was held at the Muster Point of the PTK Project Directors’ Keet and was attended by the Heads of Department (HOD) of the PTK Project as well as PTK Project employees. The awards were presented directly by the Head of Mining Engineering of the PTK Project, Dadang Prananta, as a form of appreciation for the tangible contributions made by security personnel within the mining operational area.
The three Nawakara personnel who received the Best Personnel Awards for 2025 were Abidin as Best Nawakara Shift Leader 2025, Ordin Sokrin Son Benu as Best Guard 2025, and Muhammad Bahri as Best Nawakara Patrol Driver 2025.
These awards were granted in recognition of their dedication, integrity, discipline, superior performance, and active roles in maintaining security, order, and the continuity of company operations. The recipients were assessed as consistently performing their duties in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), demonstrating professional attitudes, and serving as role models for other personnel within the PTK Project work environment.
In his remarks, the Head of Mining Engineering of the PTK Project, Dadang Prananta, stated that the company’s operational success cannot be separated from the support of a reliable and professional security system. According to him, the role of security personnel goes beyond safeguarding assets and work areas, extending to creating a sense of safety and comfort for all employees in carrying out their daily activities.
“We present this award as a form of appreciation and motivation so that all personnel continue to improve their professionalism, discipline, and awareness of safety and security in the work environment,” said Dadang.
Meanwhile, the General Manager of the Balikpapan Regional Office, Abdul Wahab, also expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the awarded personnel. He emphasized that the awards reflect the company’s long-term commitment to developing human resources with integrity and a strong orientation toward service quality.
“This award is not merely a form of appreciation, but also proof that consistent dedication, integrity, and work discipline will always receive recognition.
