Aceh Upstream Oil & Gas Summit 2026 Strengthens Industry Collaboration Toward National Energy Independence

Banda Aceh – The Aceh Upstream Oil & Gas (Supply Chain Management) Summit 2026 was successfully held on Monday (February 2, 2026), at the AAC Dayan Dawood Building, Syiah Kuala University (USK), Banda Aceh. Carrying the theme “Collaboration and Synergy to Increase Aceh’s Oil and Gas Production for the Realization of National Energy Independence,” the event was attended by approximately 800 participants representing government institutions, oil and gas regulatory bodies, industry players, banking institutions, academics, and strategic partners in the energy sector.

Commencing at 08:50 AM (WIB), the summit served as a strategic forum to strengthen supply chain management in Aceh’s upstream oil and gas industry, while also fostering a favorable investment climate and sustainable collaboration among stakeholders.

The event was attended by a number of national and regional figures, including the Inspector General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Commissioner General of Police Dr. Yudhiawan, representing the Minister of ESDM of the Republic of Indonesia; Aceh Regional Secretary M. Nasir; Deputy for Business Support of SKK Migas Eka Bayu Seta; Head of BPMA Aceh Nasri Jalal; representatives of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri); university leaders; as well as directors and executives of national oil and gas companies.

One of the main sessions of the summit featured discussions and presentations by industry leaders, including President Director & CEO of Nawakara, Dino Bimadwianda Hindarto, who was accompanied by General Manager of the Pekanbaru Regional Office, Joni Afrizal.

In his presentation, the CEO of Nawakara emphasized that the success of increasing Aceh’s oil and gas production is highly dependent on synergy and collaboration among all parties, particularly in strengthening an efficient and sustainable supply chain system.

“Integrated supply chain management is a fundamental pillar in improving oil and gas productivity. Through this forum, we see a shared commitment to building a competitive, secure, and sustainable oil and gas ecosystem in Aceh, oriented toward national energy independence,” he stated.

Meanwhile, General Manager of the Pekanbaru Regional Office, Joni Afrizal, conveyed that the summit served as a strategic platform to reinforce cooperation between business actors and regional stakeholders.

“The Aceh Upstream Oil & Gas Summit 2026 is an important momentum to align the vision and actions of all stakeholders. Nawakara is committed to supporting Aceh’s oil and gas management through professional services that prioritize safety, operational efficiency, and the empowerment of local resources,” he explained.

In addition to panel discussions, the event also included a fundraising initiative for victims of hydrometeorological disasters affecting several regions in Aceh Province, reflecting the social responsibility and solidarity of the oil and gas industry toward impacted communities.

The entire series of opening ceremonies, panel discussions, and presentations proceeded safely, orderly, and smoothly, concluding in the late afternoon. Through the organization of this summit, it is expected that stronger collaboration will be established to drive the growth of Aceh’s upstream oil and gas industry, enhance its competitiveness, and deliver tangible contributions to national energy security.
