South Tangerang – November 9, 2024, was a special day for PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara as the company celebrated its 28th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Nawakara held a festive peak celebration at the Padepokan Rajawali Nawakara, Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Banten. The event was filled with various activities, including formal ceremonies and entertainment.
The celebration, attended by all Nawakara employees, began promptly at 08:00 AM. The event opened with a Safety Briefing presented by Dwitya Indri Lestari, HSE Specialist, and the Nawakara HSE team. Chiquita Paramita Hindarto and Panji Utama, the event’s Masters of Ceremony, officially opened the event by greeting all the invited guests, including the Founder & Commissioner of Nawakara, Dra. Hj. Hanako Hindarto, and the management team.
This year’s anniversary theme, “United in Focus, Driven to Advance,” reflects Nawakara’s shared goal and strong commitment to working together. The theme emphasizes the importance of cooperation, unity of focus, and a strong drive to achieve progress and positive change.
In line with this theme, the President Director & CEO of Nawakara, Dino Hindarto, S.T., highlighted the importance of Nawakara’s company culture as a priority for all employees in achieving the company’s strategic goals.
“On this occasion, I would like to underscore the significance of Nawakara’s culture in supporting the activities of all Nawakara employees in achieving the company’s objectives. ‘Nawakara Satu, Nawakara Bisa’ (Nawakara One, Nawakara Can) is the company culture reflected in the behavior of every Nawakara employee. The Chief-level leaders and managers (C-1 & C-2) must be role models for Nawakara’s culture so that the values of the company can be applied in daily work,” said Dino, who is affectionately known as DH.
A special moment in the celebration was the tribute to the late Founder & Chairman of Nawakara Group, Drs. H. Mochammad Hindarto. The video tribute was deeply moving for all Nawakara employees, as it reflected the figure of Bapak Hindarto not only as the founder of Nawakara Group but also as a friend, motivator, inspiration, and parent figure to Nawakara’s employees.
In addition to the awards and recognition given during the event, Nawakara also provided donations to orphaned children. This year, the donation was made to Yayasan Nurul Iman in Cinere, Depok, and was presented by Founder & Commissioner Dra. Hj. Hanako Hindarto and family to Ustadz Subhanul Khotib and representatives of the orphaned children.
As the day went on, the celebration became more exciting. After the formal part of the event, the entertainment began, showcasing performances by Nawakara employees. The event kicked off with door prizes, followed by a performance from Konoha Band, featuring President Director & CEO Dino Hindarto, who sang four songs, including the classic “Selamat Ulang Tahun” (Happy Birthday) by Jamrud Band, which has become a signature song for Nawakara’s anniversary celebrations.
Next, the Nawakara Personnel Security team performed a marching band routine and a traditional Papua dance. Another exciting performance was from representatives of various Nawakara directorates, who staged a Kabaret with the theme “Trapped by Online Loans.” The moral message of the Kabaret performance was, “Happiness is simple—reduce desires, fulfill needs, and be grateful.”
By 12:00 PM, the event concluded with a shared lunch as guests enjoyed more music from the Konoha Band. As a finale, the Konoha Band performed a variety of songs to entertain the employees, and guests were invited to join in the fun by dancing and singing along.
Nawakara Satu! Nawakara Bisa! Let us all hold on to the legacy of the late Drs. H. Mochammad Hindarto to make Nawakara “One Big Happy Family.”
