Jakarta – Amid increasingly complex security risks, the quality of human resources (HR) has become a key factor in determining the effectiveness of security services. Recognizing this, PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) consistently develops the competencies of its personnel as part of the company’s commitment to delivering professional, adaptive, and customer-oriented security services.
For Nawakara, security personnel represent the company and interact directly with customers. Therefore, competency development is not limited to technical security skills, but also encompasses character building, integrity, discipline, communication skills, service excellence, and preparedness to handle various situations in the field.
As a concrete manifestation of this commitment, during the first half of 2026, Nawakara conducted 530 hours of training covering the Gada Pratama, Gada Madya, and Gada Utama programs. During the same period, 153 personnel completed competency certification at the respective levels as part of the company’s efforts to ensure personnel readiness in meeting operational requirements across various industry sectors.
In addition to certification programs, Nawakara also conducted 11 training and refresher training sessions, covering Terrorist Awareness, Riot Control Simulations, Gada Pratama, Gada Madya, Security Unit Roles and Responsibilities Training, Investigation Training, and VPSHR Training (Value, Professionalism, Service, Humanity, and Responsibility). These programs are designed to strengthen technical competencies, enhance preparedness, and develop professional and adaptive personnel capable of responding to the continuously evolving security landscape.
Rusdi, Training Operation Department Head of PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, said that competency development is a long-term investment that creates added value for both the company and its customers.
“For Nawakara, training is not merely about fulfilling administrative requirements. It is an investment in developing personnel who are professional, adaptive, and prepared to face various challenges in the field. We continuously ensure that every personnel member has the competencies required by applicable standards and is capable of delivering the best possible service to our customers,” said Rusdi at Nawakara Head Office on Monday (August 10, 2026).
According to Rusdi, Nawakara’s training programs are designed as a continuous development process, ranging from basic training and competency refreshers to emergency response simulations, roles and responsibilities training, investigation skills development, and character building through VPSHR Training. All programs are aimed at ensuring that every personnel member possesses the technical capabilities, professional attitude, and readiness required to handle various conditions in the field.
Rusdi further emphasized that technological developments and evolving security risks require security personnel to continuously learn and enhance their competencies in order to adapt to ongoing changes.
“Competency is not something that can be fully developed through a single training session. It needs to be continuously maintained and improved through ongoing learning, evaluation, and field experience. With competent human resources, we can deliver security services that are more professional, responsive, and capable of providing added value to our customers,” he added.
Through consistent human capital development, Nawakara is committed to delivering security services that go beyond security itself by supporting customers’ operational continuity through professional, responsive, and integrity-driven personnel.
Going forward, Nawakara will continue to strengthen its learning culture as part of the company’s strategy to develop high-performing human resources capable of addressing the evolving needs of the security services industry.
Investment in human capital competence remains a fundamental pillar in delivering security services that are high-quality, trusted, and capable of creating added value for customers and stakeholders.
