Nawakara Achieves 183,320 Safe Working Hours Without LTI (Lost Time Injury)

Bombana – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, through the Bukit Makmur Resources Project – Regional Office Balikpapan & Makassar, received the Zero Accident Performance 2023 award from PT Bukit Makmur Resources. The award was presented in commemoration of the 2024 Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Month on Monday, February 19, 2024, in North Kabaena, Bombana, Southeast Sulawesi.

This award was given as an appreciation to Nawakara for achieving accident-free working hours until 2023, totaling 183,320 working hours. The award was presented by HSE Department of Bukit Makmur Resources, Arifuddin, and received by Nawakara’s Project Supervisor, M. Taufik Rachman.

Abdul Wahab, General Manager of the Regional Office Balikpapan & Makassar, expressed that this award not only serves as an appreciation of the hard work done by PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara but also reflects the collective efforts of the entire team and personnel within the working environment of PT Bukit Makmur Resources.

“On behalf of the management, I would like to express gratitude to the entire team and personnel for their performance. Safety and health in project work remain our top priority, which we continuously monitor and implement to prevent any harm to the company,” Wahab stated.

For information, the Zero Incident/Accident award is a recognition of the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) granted by government agencies or companies to company management that has successfully implemented Occupational Health and Safety programs, thus achieving zero incidents/accidents.
