Pekanbaru – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, together with Yayasan Nawakara Peduli Insan (YNPI), through its Pekanbaru Regional Office (RO), once again demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility through the Nawakara Shares – Orphan Support Program, held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the RO Pekanbaru Office, Riau. The event was carried out in a warm and together atmosphere, reflecting the company’s effort to contribute positively to the surrounding community.
This program represents the company’s care for orphaned children in need of attention and support. A total of 20 orphans from the surrounding area were invited to participate. Their attendance was facilitated through coordination with local community leaders (RT/RW) and the management of Nurul Iman Mosque on Jalan Pahlawan Kerja, Pekanbaru, ensuring the program was well-organized and reached the intended beneficiaries.
The event began with an opening session, followed by remarks from the General Manager of the Pekanbaru Regional Office, Joni Afrizal. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of fostering social awareness within the organization and making sharing initiatives part of the company culture. The program continued with a collective prayer led by Ustadz Arifin, creating a solemn and meaningful atmosphere for all participants.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of donations to the orphaned children in the form of basic necessities and cash assistance. The symbolic handover was conducted by the General Manager of the Pekanbaru Regional Office to representatives of the children. This moment reflected the company’s genuine effort to ease their burden and bring happiness to the recipients. The event concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of togetherness between the company and the community.
On this occasion, Joni Afrizal expressed his hope that the program would continue to deliver sustainable benefits. “Through Nawakara Shares, we aim to instill values of care and togetherness within the company. We hope the assistance provided will not only be beneficial materially but also bring happiness and encouragement to the children,” he stated.
