Jakarta – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara has provided golf equipment as a form of support for Musa Rumbiak, a golf athlete from Mimika, who will represent Papua Province as the sole representative in the XXI National Sports Week (PON) to be held in Aceh and North Sumatra from September 10-15, 2024.
Musa Rumbiak is a Nawakara Personnel assigned to the Freeport Indonesia Project. He has been with Nawakara since 2022. As a professional athlete known for his discipline and perseverance, Musa is also a dedicated and responsible worker in his role at the Freeport Indonesia Project.
Nawakara’s Chief Operating Officer, Randy Albert Pattikayhatu, stated that the management provided two pairs of shirts and shoes to support Musa in his competition at the XXI PON this year. “We hope this support will further motivate him to win a medal in the golf competition,” he said during the handover of the golf equipment on Friday, September 6, 2024, in Jakarta.
