Kutai Kartanegara – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, through Project BUMA – Regional Office Balikpapan & Makassar, received the Zero Incident/Accident award for the 2023 period from PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama on Friday, March 15, 2024, in Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.
This award was received in commemoration of the 2024 Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Month. The award was presented by Head of Safety Department of Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama, Irwanto, and received by Nawakara’s Site Coordinator, Yudi Heriawan.
Abdul Wahab, General Manager of the Regional Office Balikpapan & Makassar, expressed that this award not only serves as an appreciation of the hard work done by PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara but also reflects the collective efforts of the entire team and personnel within the working environment of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama.
“On behalf of the management, I would like to express gratitude to the entire team and personnel for their performance. Safety and health in project work remain our top priority, which we continuously monitor and implement to prevent any harm to the company,” Wahab stated.
For information, the Zero Incident/Accident award is a recognition of the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) granted by government agencies or companies to company management that has successfully implemented Occupational Health and Safety programs, thus achieving zero incidents/accidents.
