Nawakara Wins 2nd Place in K3 Warrior Competition at PLTU S2P Karangkandri Cilacap

Cilacap – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara, through its D&C Engineering Project in Cilacap, has once again achieved a proud milestone by securing 2nd Place in the K3 Warrior Competition held as part of National OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) Month 2026. The event took place on Tuesday, February 11, 2026, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM WIB at PLTU S2P Karangkandri, specifically in the parking area of the S2P Tower Building.

The competition was participated in by 30 teams representing contractor companies operating within the PLTU S2P Karangkandri area. The K3 Warrior Competition served as a platform to test agility, physical strength, speed, and discipline in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) standards through seven challenging stages. These included wearing PPE and SCBA, climbing ladders and pulling hoses, striking steel, zig-zag crawling, crossing monkey bars, deploying and rolling hoses, and pulling heavy tires.

The Nawakara K3 Warrior Team, supervised by Sugeng Waluyo (Supervisor) and Prayogo Agung Setyawan (HSE), and consisting of Ady Sutiawan, Fikri Prasetyo, Feri Supadang, Adrian Tanjung, Yulius Elpinus Bido, and Arif Hardianto, recorded an impressive time of 4 minutes and 14 seconds. The team was only 3 seconds behind the 1st place winner, earning Nawakara the 2nd place title. In addition, their strong team spirit and coordination led them to win the Best Chant Award.

This achievement was strongly supported by the project management team led by Project Manager Rival Rinaldi. From the outset, the management set clear targets, conducted internal coordination, formed a dedicated team comprising staff and Nawakara Security personnel, and organized intensive briefings and training sessions ahead of the competition.

Rival Rinaldi stated, “This achievement is the result of the commitment and hard work of the entire team. We did not merely aim to participate, but to demonstrate that the safety culture is truly embedded in Nawakara’s working DNA. The very narrow time difference proves that our team possesses strong competence and competitiveness.”

Echoing this sentiment, Sugeng Waluyo added, “This competition is not merely about winning, but about testing readiness, discipline, and teamwork in implementing safety procedures in the field. This accomplishment motivates us to continuously enhance safety standards in every operational activity.”

Nawakara’s participation and achievement in the K3 Warrior Competition further reaffirm its commitment to building an excellent, consistent, and sustainable safety culture, in line with the spirit of National OSH Month 2026.
