Cianjur – PT Nawakara Perkasa Nusantara (Nawakara) distributed donations to residents of Cianjur, West Java who were affected by the earthquake in Gasol Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency, one of the remote areas most affected by the earthquake. The donation was handed over directly by the Emergency Response Team Nawakara to the West Java Regional Disaster Communication Forum, Friday (13/1/2023).
“Alhamdulillah, after traveling 120 KM, we distributed the donations to Pak Darmanto, Chair of the West Java Regional Disaster Communication Forum, and Pak Woyo as local community leaders. Donations were distributed to Gasol Village, which is one of the worst-hit remote areas,” said Panji Baskoro, ERT & Training Department Head.
Panji said that the residents were very enthusiastic and very happy with the presence of Nawakara who had provided assistance. Because according to Woyo, assistance, when the earthquake disaster occurred, was abundant, but after the earthquake disaster, it was very rare for assistance to be present in his village and its surroundings.
“We express our gratitude for the assistance provided by employees and companies from Nawakara, especially during the post-earthquake disaster. Where the assistance is directly provided and coordinated properly, especially for residents who live in remote areas or far from major roads and have limited access,” said Woyo.
Apart from Woyo, Ars Kumis, Head of the Youth Organization of Gasol Village, was very grateful for the attention given by Nawakara. “Alhamdulillah and thank you, because there is still assistance provided by the community, especially Nawakara for residents of Gasol Village who are in remote areas, hopefully, Nawakara’s charity and kindness will be rewarded by Allah SWT,” said Kumis.
As the party has given the mandate, Darmanto and his team will distribute donations from Nawakara through 1 Main Post and 6 Command Posts which oversee 330 Heads of Families. “Today, we will distribute donations directly. This assistance is very meaningful, especially during the current recovery period,” said Darmanto.
